Davide Ceolin is a tenured researcher within the Human-Centered Data Analytics group at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI). His research revolves around the assessment of online information quality, emphasizing transparency, explainability, and (semi-)automation. He actively contributed to the Credible Web W3C community group. Davide was honored with the distinction of being the first joint fellow of the Institute of Advanced Studies and the Data Science Center at the University of Amsterdam. In 2014, he completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
His research endeavors encompass a comprehensive approach to evaluating information quality online. Davide’s interests span the development of computational methods for assessment, as well as exploring the socio-economic impact associated with the quality of online information.
