Project Overview
In today’s media, ensuring diversity in news coverage is crucial for fair representation. But how exactly should this be translated into practice? Is diversity measurable, and if so, what is the best approach to it? This collaborative project with DPG aims to better understand the impact that more diverse content has on consumers. It seeks to understand what consumers value in diversity and what diverse content would look like from the perspective of diverse audiences.
Approach
Researchers of our Lab work together with DPG Media‘s News Analytics Team to conduct focus groups and surveys in order to understand diversity from an audience perspective.
